Growing up fascinated with visual arts and music, Stine Marie Korsfur pursued dance, painting and photography from a very young age.
Raised in a music-loving family, with a grandfather being a proficient pianist, her first encounters with music were the sounds of classical piano, with Bach and Beethoven leading the way.
Looking through her parents' CD collection, she eventually discovered bands such as Queen, and was greatly fascinated by Freddie Mercury's ability to create unique vocal melodies.
After a visit to the hospital where Freddie Mercury was born, she returned home strongly inspired, and the idea of her own musical project started brewing. She initially explored acoustic piano as an instrument for a while, before a meeting with Björk's eccentric universe introduced her to the fascinating and limitless world of electronic music.
